Fronted by ex-Opera and Jazz singer Tanya Pray, 8086 strikes a cutting gender-bend as she works her way through many originally male vocals with ease and style. Co-founder Andrew Pray creates a kaleidescopic landscape of sound and fury on his Alesis keyboard rig. Patrick Ennis drives the rhythm section with polish and verve. |
A classically trained singer, Tanya has performed with several bands ranging from punk to big band and swing. Tanya has found her true calling revisiting the darker 80's tunes she loved as a wee Goth. Extensive range, soul, depth and emotion define Tanya's inability to sing a song "that means nothing to me." |
Andrew Pray is a true multi-instrumentalist, playing funky bass guitar, strong rhythm guitar, and keyboards since he was a preppy high schooler in those ridiculous pink Izods. Formerly the band's bassist, Andrew moved to the keys and he now provides the mortar for the band's sonic scape. He loves playing with the band and believes that there are only a few things in life that are better than a good filter sweep. |
The fortunate love child of Chet Baker and Bettie Page, Pat traverses the dangerous territory between good music and questionable taste. He has been playing bass for nearly 25 years and has come to Charlie Parker by way of the Sex Pistols |
Ever since he was a wee lad, Brennan has had a fascination with drums. His interest was triggered by watching reruns of The Monkees. Whenever they would play a song, he would always focus on the drums. Before long, he got some sticks and a practice pad, and began to make his own beats. Since then, he's been on an enduring quest to find the perfect groove. |
No one really knows much about Mr. P except for his obvious addiction to effect pedals and coffee |
